Paul Everingham

Paul Everingham
Managing Director

Perth based founding Managing Director Paul Everingham works with clients in a strategic manner across a wide range of sectors to assist in delivering commercial outcomes. Paul has worked as Executive Director of the Liberal Party in Western Australia, as a Public Servant in Federal Treasury in Canberra, and as a Senior Adviser within the Federal Government in the Finance, Industry and Resources portfolios.

Prior to working in Government, Paul was an Associate with an international corporate advisory firm specialising in corporate recovery. Paul is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Queensland with post-graduate qualifications in accounting and finance.

 

Hon John Dawkins

Chairman

As the Chairman of GRA Everingham, John Dawkins provides unique insight into government and public policymaking in Australia.

John served for 18 years in the House of Representatives for the Australian Labor Party and from 1983 to 1994, was a member of the Governments of Bob Hawke and Paul Keating as Finance Minister, Trade Minister, Employment Education and Training Minister and finally Treasurer.

Since leaving politics in 1994 to pursue a career in business, John has served as a Director of listed and unlisted Australian public companies across a range of industry sectors and also advised a number of international development agencies.

 

Jason Marocchi

Associate Director

Jason Marocchi uses his strong understanding of Western Australian politics and extensive strategic communications experience to assist clients on public policy issues and opportunities.

Before taking on the role of Associate Director, Jason worked as a journalist, public relations consultant and senior political adviser. He has a strong background in issues and crisis management, investor relations and developing innovative communication strategies.

Jason has worked on a number of successful high-profile campaigns in the resources, construction, media, manufacturing and political sectors across Australia.

 

Amanda Reid

Associate Director

Amanda Reid has extensive government relations experience having previously worked for a national government relations firm. Some of the sectors Amanda has worked with include mining, energy, media and professional services. 

Prior to working in government relations Amanda worked extensively in government, policy, politics and strategic media and as a journalist. 

Amanda has previously advised WA Labor Premier Geoff Gallop, former Health Minister and Attorney General Jim McGinty, and also senior Federal Labor politicians including Dr Carmen Lawrence.

 

Barry MacKinnon

Barry MacKinnon
Special Advisor

Barry MacKinnon provides strategic political and business advice to GRA Everingham clients. Barry entered the WA Legislative Assembly in 1977 and served in senior Ministerial roles in the Sir Charles Court and Ray O’Connor Liberal Governments.

Barry was Leader of the WA Parliamentary Liberal Party from 1987-1992. On retirement from politics Barry re-established a successful business career in Perth. Barry has served as Chairman of the WA Football Commission, WA Fire & Emergency Services Authority and the WA Disability Services Commission.

Barry currently serves as Chairman of the WA Taxi Industry Board and as Chairman of the Deafness Council of WA.

 

Jessica Stojkovski

Jessica Stojkovski uses her previous experience working within the government affairs industry, to provide the team with high quality office support and comprehensive client research.

Jessica has a lifetime of political experience having grown up in a WA political family, with solid ties to the WA State Labor Party and a strong understanding of government and government processes.

Before taking up the position of Office Manager & Client Research Assistant Jessica spent the past five years successfully running and overseeing the rapid growth of her family's small business a party hire company in Osborne Park.

 

Peta Douglas

Peta leads the GRA Everingham client research efforts and manages the overall office in Perth.

Peta brings with her extensive administrative experience with a leading WA energy company and professional services firm. In these roles Peta had extensive exposure to Government and Industry providing her with a unique skills set.

The client research function includes detailed briefing papers about Government for clients and regular information updates.
