Paul Everingham
Managing Director

Perth based founding Managing Director Paul Everingham works with clients in a strategic manner across a wide range of sectors to assist in delivering commercial outcomes. Paul has worked as Executive Director of the Liberal Party in Western Australia, as a Public Servant in Federal Treasury in Canberra, and as a Senior Adviser within the Federal Government in the Finance, Industry and Resources portfolios.

Prior to working in Government, Paul was an Associate with an international corporate advisory firm specialising in corporate recovery. Paul is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Queensland with post-graduate qualifications in accounting and finance.

Hon John Dawkins AO
Chairman

As the Chairman of GRA Everingham, John Dawkins provides unique insight into government and public policymaking in Australia.

John served for 18 years in the House of Representatives for the Australian Labor Party and from 1983 to 1994, was a member of the Governments of Bob Hawke and Paul Keating as Finance Minister, Trade Minister, Employment Education and Training Minister and finally Treasurer.

Since leaving politics in 1994 to pursue a career in business, John has served as a Director of listed and unlisted Australian public companies across a range of industry sectors and also advised a number of international development agencies.

Jason Marocchi
Director

Jason Marocchi uses his strong understanding of Western Australian politics and extensive strategic communications experience to assist clients on public policy issues and opportunities.

Jason has advised businesses across a broad range of industries, including resources and energy, infrastructure, service providers, industry bodies and not-for-profit organisations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jason worked as a journalist, public relations consultant and senior political adviser. He worked as a senior media adviser for several State Liberal leaders in Western Australia and was Communications Director for the WA Liberal Party at the 2008 State Election.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is currently undertaking an MBA at Curtin University in Perth.

Amanda Reid
Director

Associate Director Amanda Reid has extensive government relations experience having previously worked for a national government relations firm as well as in corporate public relations. Some of the sectors Amanda has worked within include mining, energy, media, professional services and more.

Amanda has previously advised WA Labor Premier Geoff Gallop, former Health Minister and Attorney General Jim McGinty, as well as senior Federal Labor politicians including Dr Carmen Lawrence. She was responsible for managing a strategic communications unit in the Gallop Labor Government.

Prior to working in government and public relations Amanda worked extensively in government, policy, politics and strategic media.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Journalism and Politics from Curtin University.

Alex Temby
Associate Director

Having worked as Principal Policy Adviser to WA Premier Colin Barnett, Associate Director Alex Temby brings considerable political and strategic experience to the GRA Everingham team. Alex has provided advice to government across a number of key portfolios, including energy, training, housing, police and regional development and was the principal economic and treasury adviser to the Premier.

Alex has held positions as senior adviser and chief of staff to previous WA Liberal leaders and has spent time living in the United States and United Kingdom.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from Curtin University and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Politics from the London School of Economics.

Steven McDougall
Associate

As an Associate with GRA Everingham, Steven McDougall manages stakeholder issues, provides policy support to a wide range of clients and also leads the research effort for the team.

Steven has extensive experience working both in politics and government including four years as a Senior Policy Adviser in the WA Government Policy Unit during the Labor Gallop and Carpenter governments.

Steven gained strong stakeholder skills from working with various political constituencies at both the State and Federal level. This includes recent experience working in the Office of Hon Stephen Smith MP, Minister for Defence.

Steven has an honours degree in politics and history from the University of Notre Dame in Perth.

Kareece van der Woude
Office Manager & Administration Support

Kareece van der Woude leads the office administrative team within GRA Everingham.

Kareece has extensive senior experience working within professional service firms, providing high quality office management, client support and assistance to executive staff.

Prior to working with GRA Everingham, Kareece was an Executive Assistant to multiple senior partners at a global service firm, with a focus on several sectors including government. Kareece has studied European languages and administration.
